The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, fire station, school, church, convenience store, etc. (all demolished in 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. The paved roads and driveways were all that remained and the fictional town was built on top of them.

Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 TV Shows of 2023 You Need to Catch Up on (2023). Something stood out from the start. The actors’ voices are very clear. I give my compliments to the sound people, it’s a minor miracle.
It’s rare to hear actors’ voices with such delightful clarity
I often have a hard time hearing what actors say in shows and movies. Maybe it has something to do with the acoustics of the tank? But I don’t think so, I think it has to do with some very good work by the sound people who record and edit the actors’ voices. It’s almost like listening to the actors’ voices in a theatre, it’s so good.
I really enjoyed it
I’m a few episodes in now and I’m enjoying the acting and the story. There are good characters well portrayed and little by little something is unraveling in terms of the history of the tank and the details of the action. I’m not sure where it’s all going yet, but it’s definitely drawing me in. I’ve now finished the first episode.
There’s a major element at the end that is identical to the revelation that happens in the movie
To avoid spoilers, I won’t say the name of the movie, but I’m sure others know what I mean if they’ve seen it. This did not diminish my enjoyment of Silo, and I am not sure who came up with the idea first, as I do not know when the book Silo was based on was written.

The stories are well written and the final season has been great so far. Elizabeth is also a great Lois, and I love how they slowly developed the story with both of her children.

I hope it stays that way =) I wish this had lasted as long as Smallville, although I was less impressed with Smallville the last few seasons personally. I hope they do some kind of TV movie in the future, but probably not, since this is supposed to end because of the James Gunn stuff, which I think is ridiculous if true.

This is boring and superficial
There are no mountains in England – especially not in Norfolk, which is famous for its flat landscape. It is quite obvious that the Senna-da Silva family had a hand in it, and a very strict one at that. Senna is described as a saint. He is always friendly and nice and puts up with everything that is done to him. There are no conflicts except with Prost and Balestre.

The dialogues are so incredibly flat, any daily soap is literature in comparison. I want to be the first. I am the fastest. I want to win. But it is dangerous!
